8. Seeing Carol Peletier back in the spotlight
Is there a fan of The Walking Dead who doesn’t love Carol? Because I would find that difficult to believe. Ever since practically taking out Terminus single-handedly, she’s been one of the show’s most popular characters. The very next season saw her pretty much save everyone again by taking out many of the Wolves who had been attacking Alexandria. She’d even close the season out by killing a small group of Negan’s men.
Carol hasn’t done quite so well this season. Recovering from bullet wounds, she’d been staying at the Kingdom. Eventually though she’d recover from her injuries, but she seems over having any close friends or being part of a settlement. She would heavily insist on leaving the Kingdom, settling in a small house located closeby.
It’s okay for Carol to be a loner. But a lot of us fans still want to see that badass side of her come out again. With an incoming battle potentially on the horizon, would it be a terrible thing to see Carol back in action? We’re surely going to see some more trouble for the survivors, and it’d be amazing to have Carol kicking ass yet again.
