It’s looking like we’re going to have another star of the AMC series Mad Men on our list. But it’s really not so surprising when you consider the high quality of the show. There’s a reason it’s gotten so many award nominations and wins, after all. In particular, the acting on the show is nothing short of incredible.

Another major player in the now-ended series is Christina Hendricks, an actress hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee. She plays the role of Joan Holloway on Mad Men and added a lot to the series in this part. For playing Joan, Hendricks was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards.

Hendricks has just as much beauty as she has talent. A reader’s poll in Esquire magazine named her the sexiest woman in the world. Later, she was voted the Best Looking American Woman in the same publication.

Hendricks can still be seen in new episodes of television these days. You’ll find her on the Comedy Central series Another Period. The outlandish comedy show really gives her a chance to do something different. But she still works in drama too, having a recurring role on the Sundance TV series Hap and Leonard.
