January Jones (South Dakota)

We’ve got another talented Mad Men performer on our list. January Jones appears on the AMC original series as Betty Draper, the housewife married to Don Draper (played by Jon Hamm). Jones would appear on the show for seven seasons. This would get her both two Golden Globe nominations and a Primetime Emmy Awards nomination for the part.

January Jones also appears in various feature films you may recognize her in. This includes Anger Management and Love Actually. She also plays Emma Frost in the film X-Men: First Class. But although she does just fine in those feature film roles, we definitely still know Jones best as a TV star. Her role as Betty is so iconic and recent enough in our minds that we could never forget it so soon.

Lately, Jones is back on television in a new popular series. This time, it’s a sitcom on FOX. Jones appears as Melissa in the Will Forte show The Last Man on Earth. It’s a departure from the role she plays on Mad Men, but in both cases, she’s a strong asset to the series. Let’s make sure January Jones stays on our TV sets for years to come.
