2. John Oliver loses his mind over Brexit

John Oliver revealed his thoughts on Brexit shortly before it happened, urging those in the United Kingdom not to vote for it. Low and behold, Brexit became a reality, as the UK officially broke away from the European Union. In the wake of this development, Oliver spends another episode of Last Week Tonight to get into the implications of what this meant.

Oliver said that the only good news in the wake of his fiasco was that Prime Minister David Cameron was resigning. The HBO host joked that while this should make him happy, it only hardly does. But nobody needs to feel sorry for Cameron, as he “proposed the ‘in’ or ‘out’ choice himself, which he normally only does when he’s deciding to f–k a pig’s mouth,” as put by Oliver.

And that was just Oliver getting started. He proceeds to thoroughly rip apart those responsible for making Brexit into a reality. And just to make matters worse, even Donald Trump got involved by offering praise to the United Kingdom for taking their country back. It was reminiscent of Trump’s plan to take the United States back from all “the illegals”, so Oliver urged American voters to learn from this. “There are no f–king do-overs,” he emphasizes.
