24. Kumail Nanjiani

Pakistani-American comic Kumail Nanjiani is a very entertaining guy. He is probably most recognized for his prominent role on the Mike Judge series Silicon Valley on HBO, but you can find him elsewhere on television as well. Usually, though, every time we see Nanjiani, he is hilarious.

With Jonah Ray, Nanjiani co-hosts the Comedy Central program The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. After two successful seasons, it has been renewed for a third by the network, set to air on an undisclosed date. So hosting a show is nothing new for Nanjiani, and it’s also something he has proven himself to be good at.

But television appearances aren’t the only places to find the comedy of Nanjiani. The comedian also hosts two separate podcasts called The Indoors Kids and The X-Files Files. He has provided voice work in several places as well, such as the cartoon Adventure Time and in Season 2 of The Walking Dead video game series. But in the skits he has appeared in, such as on Inside Amy Schumer, he has shown himself to be hilarious.

If given the chance, I’m sure Nanjiani could have a refreshing presence in the world of late night television.
