Rob Riggle (Kentucky)

Chances are, you know Rob Riggle, even if you don’t know his name. Riggle has had many, many roles in various comedy films, such as Dumb and Dumber ToStep Brothers21 Jump StreetThe Other Guys, and many others. The guy can just be seen all over the place when it comes to on-screen comedy roles.

Years before his career began, Riggle was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He would later relocate to Kansas where he’d earn a degree in Theater and Film, looking to parlay that knowledge into a career in entertainment. Riggle was originally planning to be a Naval Aviator, but his passion for comedy led to him putting his focus on pursuing acting.

In subsequent years, Riggle was able to get plenty of acting work for himself, including his time as a key cast member for Saturday Night Live‘s thirtieth season. Some of his notable impressions were of Howard Dean, Mark McGuire, Toby Keith, and Larry the Cable Guy, while his original character Leviticus— an obnoxious preacher— managed to entertain in its one Weekend Update segment. Had Riggle stayed with the series, he could have definitely added a lot more good material to the show.
