10. Jon Stewart blasts Jim Cramer on The Daily Show

You could never keep track of how many people were taken to task by Jon Stewart during his long run as the host of The Daily Show. Stewart is the type of person to speak his mind, and isn’t afraid to tell people what he really thinks even when they’re face to face with him on his show. This was something that Mad Money host Jim Cramer would find out the hard way when he appeared on the show in March of 2009.

After Stewart had been criticizing Cramer pretty heavily for days leading up to the interview, the CNBC financial analyst still showed up totally unprepared for the roasting he was to receive. Stewart called him out for being wrong about so many things, with Cramer basically admitting that he could have done his job better. It just got sad when Cramer tried to suggest Stewart “take it easy” on him, which fell on deaf ears.

The episode was very controversial and became the second most watched episode of The Daily Show, even causing CNBC ratings to drop in the days immediately following the show as well. Some thought the attacks were unfair, while most praised Stewart’s actions.
