Anne Hathaway, David Schwimmer rap battle James Corden

Anne Hathaway and David Schwimmer “drop the mic” during a rap battle with James Corden
In a span of two days, James Corden faced off against Anne Hathaway and David Schwimmer in epic rap battles on The Late Late Show, taking a no-holds-barred approach to the contests by delivering several personal shots at each other throughout the rhymes.
Hathaway was the first celeb to “Drop the Mic,” quickly getting into character while wearing a sideways baseball cap. Corden took the first round, rapping, “Now it’s her turn to act a little scary, ‘cause the only Catwoman I acknowledge is Halle Berry.” But the actress quickly fired back, calling him “the worst British export since smallpox,” and asking, “Are you also allergic to suits that fit?” Corden went on to take aim at her “awful British accent in the movie One Day” and her widely-criticized stint as co-host of the Oscars, before telling her to “kiss his f****** ass.”

Just two days later, Schwimmer vowed to destroy Corden in a rap battle after being inspired by Hathaway. Corden took aim at Schwimmer’s lack of fame and career, and questioned his casting as Rob Kardashian, who was of Armenian descent, on American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. “You played Robert, and that was a great combo. But you were so white, you shoulda probably played the Bronco,” he rapped, later adding, “But now you got the chance to prove you got balls, while I ignore you like Jennifer Aniston does your calls.”
On the other end, the Friends alum called out Corden’s weight, heritage and lack of acting range. “A Brit in America’s your one claim to fame, we all know as an actor your roles were all the same,” he began. “The heavy best friend, the humorous sidekick with a belly so big you can’t find your own… Dickens, the author we all read as kids. He’s British like you, but people know who he is.” Schwimmer went on to flip him off after rapping:
"“I’m tall and lean, you’re short and stout. They know me in Japan, they know you at In-N-Out. You embarrassed your country, this was easy for me. Bitch, lay down the mic and go make me some tea.”"
Fellow Late Late Show guest Rebel Wilson then dropped in to spit a few verses, quickly winning over the crowd with her bombastic approach that slayed the competition.
“David, your career – it’s a huge mistake. It’s like Ross and Rachel; it’s ‘on a break,'” she told Schwimmer. Corden wasn’t spared either, as she rapped, “Carpool Karaoke, you think it’s your big thing. But everyone is thinking, ‘Shut up and let Adele sing.'”
