Another week is here, and you know what that means. The new schedules for the late night shows are out, and that includes The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
It’s a packed week, kicking off tonight, Monday, Jan. 26. Yes, there is a new episode tonight, despite the show taking last Monday off. So, you’ll want to make sure you’re ready for the discussions and interviews — and of course, the monologues that we’re expecting that are sure to focus on ICE.
Monday, January 26
The first night of the week will start with Charli XCX coming to the stage to discuss her hyper-pop mockumentary, The Moment. It follows a rising pop star who is navigating the complexities of the industry. She also did the soundtrack for Wuthering Heights, so she’ll chat about that, while Margot Robbie talks all about the movie on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
After that, Governor Josh Shapiro will come on to share about his memoir, Where We Keep the Light. There are sure to be discussions of the current state of America.
Tuesday, January 27
The focus is on saving the world on Tuesday. Sam Rockwell comes to The Late Show to talk about Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, his recent film that sees his character find recruits to save the world in one night.
After that, we’ll get to see George Saunders talk about his novel Vigil, where the story takes place at the bedside of an oil company’s CEO during the final hours of his life. It’s all about the source of the idea for the novel.

Wednesday, January 28
Bad Bunny is on the show during Hump Day. This isn’t surprising considering he’ll be performing the Super Bowl LX halftime show, but he’s not on just to discuss that. He’ll take “The Colbert Querionert.”
Then Katherine LaNasa will enter the chat. The Pitt season 2 is in full swing, and there’s no doubt that we’ve enjoyed the events so far. There are teases of a major story to come, and hopefully LaNasa can give some details.
Thursday, January 29
Finally, there’s Alexander Skarsgård, who appears on The Moment and will chat all about that. There’s also hope that he’ll be able to dish a few details on his appearance on Saturday Night Live this week!
After that, Jacob Soboroff will talk about his new book, Firestorm: The Great Los Angeles Fires and America’s New Age of Disaster. It won’t be surprising to hear that the topic of the book is all about the fires that rocked LA last year, but there are many more environmental threats to discuss and plan for.
Of course, Friday is a rebroadcast as usual. CBS has decided to air the episode with Ethan Hawke discussing Blue Moon and his daughter’s work on Stranger Things.
The schedule is subject to change, as always.
The Late Show airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on CBS.
