The Late Show with Stephen Colbert may be well known for its current political drama and for the monologues, but there are also celebrity and musical guests to look forward to. From Monday, Nov. 10 to Friday, Nov. 14, we have a look at a few of the guests to come to the show.
We’ll note now that the schedule for Thursday and Friday of this week hasn’t been released yet. We’ll share the news as soon as we can, but it probably won’t be until closer to the end of the week. This is often as the show tries to narrow down a few celebrity guests, and schedules can change.
Monday, November 10
While The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon gets to talk with Landman star Billy Bob Thornton, Stephen Colbert will discuss the same series with Demi Moore. She looks into what to expect from the oil industry drama.
Then, after that, the host will speak with Ken Burns, who will take a look at the roles of immigrants and felons. He has a new documentary coming up called The American Revolution, which has been 10 years in the making.
Tuesday, November 11
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will also get to discuss The Beast in Me, a new miniseries coming out. Colbert will chat with Claire Danes (while The Tonight Show will get Matthew Rhys later in the week).
Then there’s a chance for Rep. James Clyburn to come to the show, but it’s not all about politics. Not current politics, anyway. It’s all about the untold story of the Black congressmen who brought change to the system, who are the focus of Clyburn’s book, The First Eight.
Wednesday, November 12
Things will get political on a current-day front on Wednesday, though. Jonathan Karl will take us into his book, Retribution: Donald Trump and the Campaign that Changed America, sharing his insights into his book.
There will be some light-hearted entertainment to follow, though. Pete Townshend will reminisce about The Who. He is known as the creative force behind the legendary rock band, and he’ll join Louis Cato and the Late Show Band for some performances.
It’s not clear who the musical guests will be during the first two nights of the week — and whether there will be any of them. It’s already looking like a packed week, though, and that’s without announcements for Thursday and Friday!
