We’re ready for a new week of interviews on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and one of them involves another late night host. The episode was taped back in September 2025, allowing for all the late night shows to remain as usual throughout the week.
Friday night is still blank at this time. The Fridays have turned into reruns for the majority of the late night shows now, and the lack of schedule for this week suggests the same is happening this week. However, there is always time to bring some celebrity guests if the show wants.

Monday, January 12
The week kicks off with another late night host appearing on The Late Show. Jimmy Kimmel will take “The Colbert Questionert” during the episode, but this was taped back in September. After all, Kimmel has a full week of episodes packed in. Fans will remember that Colbert appeared on The Late Show back in September when Kimmel did a week-long Brooklyn stint, and that’s when this was taped.
After that, we’ll see Virginia Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger sit down with Colbert. It’s time to talk all about politics and what she plans on doing now that she’s elected.

Tuesday, January 13
The second night of the week will focus on The Testament of Ann Lee, with Amanda Seyfried appearing on the series. This is a speculative retelling of the biography, and while she’s on the show, she’ll take part in the “Community Calendar.”
Then it’s over to Yo-Yo Ma, master of the cello. He’ll talk all about the artistry of the instrument, while also performing for the audience.

Wednesday, January 14
With Star Trek: Starfleet Academy coming up, it’s not surprising to find out that the late night shows will host various actors. Colbert will chat with Paul Giamatti about the latest Star Trek addition.
Then it’s over to Ryan Coogler, the producer, writer, and director of Sinners. Kimmel gets Michael B. Jordan during the week, and this entire push is for the awards circuit. Coogler will also get a chance to discuss the use of classic vampire lore in the movie.

Thursday, January 15
Stellan Skarsgård will appear on the last confirmed episode of the week, discussing his return to acting after his stroke. He will appear in Sentimental Value and will talk all about the movie.
Then Scott Galloway will appear to talk about his book Notes on Being a Man. It’s focused on why boys need male mentorship. Finally, Warren Haynes will be there to sit in with the Late Show Band.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on CBS.
