In celebration of National Bobblehead Day, 10 limited-edition SNL bobbleheads will be released as part of the first Saturday Night Live Bobblehead Series! For 51 seasons, SNL or Saturday Night Live, has been amusing audiences with witty, memorable, laugh-out-loud, clever, and comedic skits.
Since 1975, SNL has become the origin story of some of the most famous actors, actresses, and comedians, from the likes of Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Amy Poehler, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Ever since then, celebrities from musicians to actors, have guest-starred and hosted the comedy and variety sketch series, which poked fun at everything and everyone from historical figures of the past to current events.

Thanks to the rise and advantages of technology, the internet, including all forms of social media, fans of the show can watch episodes from practically the very beginning. Amongst SNL's vast history, several characters and skits still remain in the public consciousness, repeatedly standing the test of time.
The 10 SNL bobbleheads in the collection include the following: Roseanne Roseannadanna, Matt Foley (say it with me, "van down by the river"), More Cowbell (this can apply to everything in life), Drunk Uncle, The Ladies' Man, The Ambiguously Gay Duo, Bass-O-Matic, D*ck in a Box, Mango, and Nick the Lounge Singer (we're humming the Star Wars theme already). The bobbleheads, only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store, are individually numbered to 2,026, costing $35 for one bobblehead and between $40-$50 for the dual bobbleheads, not including a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

Customers can expect their orders to ship in May. National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar is quoted saying, “Famous for its hilarious sketches and memorable characters, SNL has provided late-night comedic relief for generations. These bobbleheads will be must-haves for longtime fans of SNL and many of the iconic sketches that we’ve turned into bobblehead form.”
Which characters or skits from SNL would you like to see become bobbleheads next? We're hoping for Domingo!
