Sadly, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not co-hosting SNL (but they totally should)

We would love to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce co-host SNL, but unfortunately, we won't be seeing this happen any time soon.

All eyes were already on the hottest and most talked about couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and after that sweet Super Bowl victory kiss, people are even more invested in their relationship. Now, there's a rumor swirling around that the lovely pair are set to co-host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live season 49. While we would absolutely love for this to be true, it's not, and we're here to debunk this rumor.

The SNL season 49 host roster has been amazing thus far with celebrities and entertainers such as Pete Davidson, Bad Bunny, Nate Bargatze, Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Emma Stone, Adam Driver, Kate McKinnon, Jacob Elordi, Dakota Johnson, and Ayo Edebiri taking on hosting duties.

Coming up on the Feb. 24 episode, stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Shane Gillis is set to host with Grammy Award-winning rapper 21 Savage as musical guest. Since new hosts are revealed pretty late, who will be hosting next is unknown. But what we do know for sure is that it won't be Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

So, where did this rumor come from? Well, it started on a Taylor Swift fan account on X. A fan shared two photos on their page: one showing three sticky notes and the other of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce standing side by side on the SNL stage. If you're a faithful Saturday Night Live viewer, you'd already be familiar with these sticky notes. The show usually uses them when sharing who will be hosting next and the date they'll be hosting.

On one of the sticky notes in the photo, it says, "April 20." The other two sticky notes have Taylor and Travis's names on them. With this photo and the other photo showing Taylor and Travis on the SNL stage, people instantly assumed that this meant that they'd be co-hosting a future episode. But this just isn't true.

The photos are photoshopped, and even the person behind the fan account admitted to it being "a joke." I mean, look at Taylor and Travis's hands in one of the photos. That's definitely some Photoshop work there.

Although this rumor is untrue, we're still holding hope that Taylor and Travis do eventually co-host an SNL episode together in the future. It would be Taylor and Travis's second SNL hosting gig, so that would be exciting to watch!
