Raygun aka Rachel Gunn was bound to be a late night talking point. The breakdancer became a viral sensation due to her less than stellar performance at the Olympics. The Raygun memes spread like wildfire, and Jimmy Fallon decided to dip into the well with a parody skit on The Tonight Show.

Fallon enlisted fellow SNL alum Rachel Dratch to dress up like Raygun and interrupt his monologue. It was all very silly and broad, but the reception to the sketch was mixed. Some felt it was funny, while others felt Fallon was hammering a point home a little too hard.

Rachel Gunn hasn't watched her Fallon parody yet

Rachel Gunn broke her silence on the Tonight Show sketch during an interview with Daily Mail. She noted that she'd not yet seen the sketch, but was immediately told about it by friends and family. It wasn't something she was prepared for, that's for certain.

"I haven't actually seen the sketch 'cause I don't think I'm in a place yet to watch it," Gunn told the outlet. She did, however, clarify that she will sit down and watch it when she feels ready. "You know, a few different people have kind of explained it to me and given me different takes on it," she added.

It's worth noting that Jimmy Fallon's humor is generally considered to be the least biting of all the late night hosts, so Gunn might consider herself lucky that she wasn't parodied by someone like Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel.

While the different perspective of friends has helped Rachel Gunn achieve a semblance of peace with being parodied, she did assert that the exposure she got from being parodied on The Tonight Show is something she never thought she'd experience.

"I don't know whether to, like, hug him or yell at him," Gunn explained to the outlet. "Because what a platform he ended up giving me like, honestly!" The breakdancer has described the whole experience of post-Olympic fame as a "weird dream," and those who watched her perform at the Olympics would be inclined to agree.
