Jimmy Kimmel Live! won't air a new episode tonight, March 4. However, there is a good reason the late-night TV show is taking Monday night off.

It was a busy weekend in politics and pop culture, providing plenty of material for a Jimmy Kimmel monologue. But late-night TV fans will have to wait to hear Kimmel's take on Donald Trump's rallies, the Supreme Court's election decision, and more.

There will not be a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight on ABC. That's because Kimmel and his team are preparing for the Academy Awards on March 10. Kimmel will be back hosting the Oscars once again.

So on Monday, ABC will re-air the February 23 episode. Interested fans can tune in to revisit appearances by Selena Gomez and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

What to watch instead of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, March 4

Late-night TV definitely won't be the same on Monday night without Jimmy Kimmel Live! delivering a new episode. The good news is that there is still plenty of other options.

At 11:00 p.m., Jon Stewart is back hosting The Daily Show on Comedy Central. He'll welcome Jonathan Blitzer to the program.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has a new show set for 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC. Julianne Moore, Lindsay Lohan, and Joe List are scheduled to appear.

Over on CBS at the same time, check out The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Look for RuPaul and Yuval Noah Harari on the show.

Then, it's time for Late Night with Seth Meyers. The NBC show starts at 12:35 a.m. with Josh Brolin, David Sedaris, Paloma Faith, and Adrian Young on the schedule.

Finally, don't forget about After Midnight on CBS. Rob Riggle, Adam Ray, Monét X Change, and a special appearance by Jeff Probst are planned for the show, starting at 12:35 a.m.
