Jimmy Kimmel had a lot to address on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! The host recapped the well-received roast of NFL legend Tom Brady, and dropped some withering disses toward Donald Trump as the President continues his court trial.

The main focus of Kimmel's ire, however, was Kristi Noem. The Governor of South Dakota has been making headlines recently for publishing a memoir in which she admitted to shooting a puppy and a goat. Kimmel noted that Noem may have very well executed one of the most hilarious examples of self-sabotage in political history.

Kimmel delves into Noem's dubious memoir

Noem's memoir was so bizarre, however, that Kimmel didn't even focus on the shooting. He instead pointed out that the Governor claimed to have met Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea. He rolls a CBS interview clip with Koem where she tries to walk back her encounter with Kim. The clip is so cringe-inducing on its own that Kimmel doesn't even need to comment.

Noem claims that she met with several world leaders, but that a new version of her memoir is being released with "corrections," and she was glad the Kim chapter had been brought to her attention. The CBS anchor then asked point blank of Noem had met Kim, and the Governor simply stares at the screen without speaking. She then reasserts that she's met with several powerful men.

Oof. "All she's trying to say is the book is very good and she's meet with many world leaders," Kimmel mockingly repeats. "None of them being Kim Jong Un." The talk show host then proceeded to try and understand the origin of this false claim. "Why would she even claim this??," he asks the crowd.

The host mocks Noem and George Santos

Kimmel then takes a shot at former U.S. Representative George Santos, who goes by the name "Kitara Ravache" when he's in drag. "She's like the female George Santos," he asserted. "Although sometimes George Santos is the female George Santos." The host then wrapped up the whole bit by noting how unfortunate it was that Noem never got to meet the North Korean leader.

"It's really kind of a shame she didn't Kim Jong Un," he added. "Because if anyone would be on her side when it comes to dog killing, I mean that's the guy." It's safe to say Noem has an uphill battle ahead of her.
