Explore Jacob Elordi's dating history ahead of his Saturday Night Live show

Jacob Elordi had a fantastic 2023. Not only did he do a fantastic job portraying Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's critically acclaimed biographical drama Priscilla opposite Cailee Spaeny, but he also co-starred with Barry Keoghan in Emerald Fennell's divisive dark comedy Saltburn which made all the headlines. But that's not all. Last year, Elordi also starred in a crime drama called He Went That Way (which he also executive produced) and appeared in another drama called The Sweet East. How does he have all that time, you might ask? There's no doubt that Elordi stays booked and busy!

So, it was really a no-brainer for Elordi to host Saturday Night Live at some point, and he'll be making his hosting debut on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024. The episode sees the return of season 49 after taking a break for the holidays. Want to know more about the 26-year-old actor from Australia, namely his relationship history? New reports claim he's single again, while other sources say he's still dating Olivia Jade Giannulli. Let's break it all down.

Joey King (2017-2018)

Elordi's first publicized relationship was with Joey King, who he co-starred with in The Kissing Booth trilogy on Netflix. Though the actor hasn't shied away from speaking negatively about the romantic comedies, his romance with King seemed very solid. The two met on the set of the first movie in 2017 and King later said the two started as close friends before things turned romantic.

" We were so close and throughout filming, I was just best friends with Jacob. I guess there was no moment, but I feel like the friendship kind of naturally was like, 'Oh hey, this person is super frickin' awesome. We have so much in common and we really love spending time together. Maybe there’s something more there.'"

Throughout their relationship, both actors shared photos of one another on Instagram, and they attended various events together. By 2018, however, fans began to speculate they were no longer together after realizing they hadn't posted each other on social media in months. Us Weekly reported in Nov. 2018 that Elordi shared a cryptic message to his fans on Instagram, announcing his break from the platform. Soon after, King tweeted: “Thank god I have my dog tho.” The tweet has since been deleted.

The pair had a quiet breakup, understandably, and about a year later Elordi was spotted out with another co-star. The awkward part about this equation is that Elordi and King then had to film two more Kissing Booth movies after their split.

Rumored: Zendaya (2019-2020)

Though Elordi and Zendaya's characters on Euphoria definitely do not get along, the same can't be said for the actors in real life. In fact, they even had a rumored romance — which was all but confirmed when they were spotted showing PDA.

The two met on the set of the HBO drama and clearly got close, vacationing together in Athens, Greece in Aug. 2019. All eyes were on the pair, and fans were confused when in Dec. 2019, Elordi told GQ that the actress was "like my sister." The two continued to support each other and were seen spending time together, with fans wondering if they really were just friends.

Well, dating rumors were sparked again in Feb. 2020 when Elordi and Zendaya were photographed in New York City together getting close and cozy. In one photo, published by E! News and other outlets, Elordi can be seen planting a kiss on his co-star's head. Just friends? That's up for speculation! If they two did date, however, they fizzled out at some point that same year.

Kaia Gerber (2020-2021)

Later on in 2020, Elordi was spotted spending time with Kaia Gerber. Things must've already been serious by then between the two celebs, as People Magazine reported in Sept. 2020 that Elordi vacationed with Gerber and her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, in Mexico (there are photos as well!). By Nov. 2020, the couple made their relationship Instagram official, dressing up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley. The couple's costume is particularly funny now, knowing that Elordi went on to play Elvis in a movie and Gerber went on to date Austin Butler after Elordi, who also played Elvis in a movie.

Similar to Elordi's relationship with King, he and Gerber were pretty open about their romance, attending events together and posting photos of one another on social media. In an interview with Vogue in 2021, Gerber opened up about their relationship:

"Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don’t want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions. By Nov. 2021, a little over a year after Elordi and Gerber were first spotted out together, they split. Page Six reported the news, saying the breakup was "amicable." In Dec. 2021, Gerber first sparked dating rumors with Butler, and Elordi moved on to Olivia Jade Giannulli.

Olivia Jade Giannulli (2021-)

After Gerber, Elordi entered a reportedly on-again, off-again relationship with Olivia Jade Giannulli, the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. And before you start asking yourself, yes, this is the same Olivia Jade who was involved in the heavily publicized college admissions scandal in 2019.

Elordi and Giannulli were first linked in Dec. 2021 after being photographed out together in Los Angeles. Though the two didn't confirm it, sources claimed they were an item before their reported first split in Aug. 2022. Us Weekly reported at the time that while they "enjoyed spending time together," they didn't want to be tied down. Nearly a year later in June 2023, the two celebs were spotted out together again, with the Daily Mail sharing photos of them walking together in New York City.

It's believed Elordi and Giannulli have been dating since then, enjoying a vacation together this past June in Italy. Despite Elordi going Instagram official with King and Gerber, his relationship with Giannulli has been much more private. He's declined to speak about his dating life to the media and Giannulli, who's very popular on YouTube and other social media platforms, has not opened up about their romance either.

Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli may (or may not) have broken up

On Jan. 17, 2024, Us Weekly reported that Elordi and Giannulli have called it quits again, however, that's not the only report circulating. Page Six also reported on Jan. 18, 2024 that the pair is still going strong despite reports saying otherwise, with an insider telling the publication: "They’re just extremely private." At this time, we truly don't know whether or not the two celebs are still dating or not, but one thing is for certain — they are very secretive about it. So, as much as we can speculate, if they don't want to tell us, that's okay.
