Is Late Night with Seth Meyers new tonight, April 15?
By Matt Moore
A busy day in New York City could mean a busy evening at Late Night with Seth Meyers. But what should fans expect to see tonight on NBC?
Former president Donald Trump was in New York today for the start of his hush money trial. The ex-president sat through jury selection in what should be a weeks-long trial. It's certainly the kind of event that would get a closer look from Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Unfortunately, we won't get to hear what Meyers thought of today's historic events. There will not be a new episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers tonight.
Instead, NBC will reair the March 13 episode. You can still tune in to revisit Meyers' conversations with Kristen Stewart and Walton Goggings, along with a performance by Aric Improta.
The bad news continues as it looks like Seth Meyers and his team are taking the entire week off. There are no new episodes of Late Night scheduled for the remainder of the week.
What to watch instead of Late Night with Seth Meyers tonight
Late Night may be off the air tonight, but that doesn't mean Seth Meyers is too. You can catch the late-night TV host as a guest on another show.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! welcomes Meyers on a brand new episode. Meyers recently launched The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast, looking back at the SNL digital shorts from The Lonely Island. The show starts at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC. Riley Keough and Black Pumas are also on the schedule.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be new at the same time on CBS. Salman Rushdie, Anna Sawai, and Terence Blanchard are all scheduled to appear.
Before that, The Daily Show start at 11:00 p.m. with a new show. Jon Stewart will be behind the desk and talk with David E. Sanger.
At 12:35 a.m. ET, catch a brand-new episode of After Midnight. Hari Kondabolu, Dave Hill, and Liz Miele make up the panel.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon joins Late Night with Seth Meyers in the repeat category. Don't expect any new episodes from Jimmy Fallon this week, either.
