Emma Stone can do it all. She just won her second Academy Award for her performance in Poor Things (2023), and is already earning rave reviews for her performance in Kinds of Kindness. She's one of the premiere leading ladies in Hollywood, so much so that it can be easy to forget that she got her start in comedy.

Stone broke through in comedy, She has the charisma and the wit to pull off any ridiculous situation with conviction, which is why she's been such an effective host on Saturday Night Live. Stone is the youngest person to host the show five times, vaunting her into the iconic "Five-Timers Club." This status earned her a green jacket, and she did not want to part with said jacket...

Emma Stone claims she stole a "Five-Timers Club" jacket

The actress reflected on the "Five-Timers Club" during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The conversation was fitting, given that Fallon was, of course, a former SNL cast member. Stone spoke reverently about her time on the show, but she revealed that she didn't get to keep the green jacket once she wore it onstage.

Stone was so taken aback by this news, that she decided to get as much time in the jacket as possible. That's what she told Fallon, at least:

"They’re like, 'You know you’re not keeping the jacket. You’re just wearing it for the monologue. I was like, ‘No. I’ll be taking it with me, I’ll be wearing it to [the] after-party, and I’ll be taking it home.'"

Stone told SNL producers they know where to find her

The Oscar winner did just that. She took the "Five-Timers Club" jacket home with her, and admitted to the Tonight Show audience that it's still in her closet. "I did take it home," she said while laughing. "And now, it’s in my closet! That’s right! But they also know where to find me."

Now that Stone's theft is out in the open, it's safe to assume it will become a talking point whenever she returns to the SNL stage. We can't wait to see what happens.
