No surprises in Late Night with Seth Meyers post-holiday schedule

The news it covers may be unpredictable, but Late Night with Seth Meyers isn't surprising anyone with its schedule this week. Monday's holiday confirms what fans can expect from the NBC show this week.

No late-night TV show works five nights a week, every week of the year. Late Night with Seth Meyers is no exception, having gone on a hiatus last week. Monday was Memorial Day, adding another built-in break to the show's schedule.

That means there will not be a new episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday night. In fact, the show is off for the remainder of the week.

NBC will still try to make the most of the show's timeslot. Repeat episodes are slated to run on the network at 12:35 a.m. ET.

Tuesday, May, 27 will feature John Krasinski, Reba McEntire, and Tony Gilroy from the May 13 episode. Wednesday night replays the May 14 episode with Tiffany Haddish and Leslie Bibb.

Thursday, May 29 showcases the May 15 episode with Sarah Snook and Glenn Howerton as guests. And Late Night's week ends on Friday, May 30, when NBC reairs the March 31 episode starring Nathan Lane and Adrienne Warren.

Another week off for Seth Meyers and his team should come as no surprise. Only Jimmy Kimmel Live! will bring new episodes to late-night TV this week. In fact, Meyers is slated to appear on the ABC show on Wednesday, May 28.

The good is that we know when Late Night with Seth Meyers will be back on the air. New episodes will restart on Monday, June 2.

George Clooney, Jennifer Simard, and Christopher Sieber have been announced as Meyers' first guests. Then, another new episode hits on Tuesday, June 3 with guests Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, Ben Wang, and Maria Reva.
