In what has become a familiar feeling for fans of Saturday Night Live over the past couple of weeks, there’s no new episode tonight. But just because the show is off the air again tonight doesn't mean it's all bad news in SNL World.
Saturday Night Live last aired a new episode on March 14. Harry Styles took over Studio 8H as both the host and the musical guest. Then the bad news came as the show went on a two-week hiatus as season 51 enters the final stretch.
The good news? Saturday Night Live will return soon with two newly announced episodes in April. NBC has already revealed the upcoming hosts and musical guests for both shows.
Jack Black returns to host on April 4. He'll be on to promote his role as Bowser in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. He'll be joined by musical guest Jack White. The promos should write themselves, and White's own musical talents are begging for a collaboration either in a sketch or on the performance stage.
Colman Domingo makes his Saturday Night Live debut the next week when he hosts for the first time on April 11. The actor will be there in support of his upcoming film Michael, where he plays Joe Jackson, father to Michael Jackson. Singer Anitta will be the musical guest, performing songs from her 2026 album Equilibrium.
But if you're still craving sketch comedy, you're in luck, too. Saturday Night Live UK aired a new episode tonight.
Jamie Dornan served as the host, with Wolf Alice as the musical guest. American audiences are in luck as the show recently launched it's own YouTube channel. Several sketches from the March 28 episode have made their way online, including a catchy tune about British pubs and a "Weekend Update" segment.
For those fans who would like to see the entire episode as it aired, we've got you covered. The show will stream on Peacock beginning on Sunday, March 29.
Finally, there's one more option for fans to get their Saturday Night Live fix. A brand new episode of the digital series The Rundown launched earlier this week. The show features SNL cast members, alumni, and celebrity fans building the ultimate episode. Dana Carvey starred in this week's edition, picking a live sketch designed to perfectly follow the monologue.
Sure, it’s a bit of a letdown not to have a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight. But between April’s upcoming shows, a fresh installment of SNL UK, and new digital content like The Rundown, there’s still plenty to keep fans entertained until Studio 8H lights back up.
