Another day, another spat between Jimmy Kimmel and Donald Trump. It's been well-documented that these two men do not like or respect one another. More evidence was provided during a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Kimmel took umbrage with the rumor that Donald Trump called his presidential opponent, Kamala Harris, a "r****d," during a campaign fundraiser. The talk show host proceeded to tee off on Trump's intelligence for the majority of his monologue.

Kimmel insulted Donald Trump's intelligence

For starters, Jimmy Kimmel was unimpressed with Trump's trash talk. "Man, when they go low, they go real low," he noted. He then went on theorize that the former President has been intimidated by Harris ever since the debate on September 10:

"The guy who’s up in the middle of the night reading tweets about himself wants to give someone else a cognitive test."

Then the taunting began. Kimmel decided to insult Trump's intelligence, and dared him to prove his intelligence. He noted that Trump has been sheepish about debating Kamala Harris a second time, so he proposed that he take a cognitive test against someone closer to his age, like Harris' VP running mate, Tim Walz:

"If you’re too scared to debate again, I dare you to take a cognitive test against the vice president. Let’s see how you do."

Kimmel dispensed with his usual mocking tone and was more blunt with his insults during this particular monologue. He used Trump's assertion that he has a "big brain" against him, and then proceeded to urge Trump to lean into what he perceived as a fully villainous persona.

Kimmel even urged Trump to grow a "little mustache" in order to complete the cartoonish stereotype he feels the ex President is embodying. "If there’s only three weeks left, you’ve got to get started," he noted.

This brutal takedown comes right on the heels of a recent social media exchange between Kimmel and Trump. The latter posted a clip of the host on Truth Social and called him a dope. Kimmel stated that he loved the attention.
