After the passing of Jimmy Kimmel’s longtime friend and band leader Cleto Escobedo, Jimmy Kimmel Live! took some time off the air. The pause in production was understandable, and all we have is empathy for those close to Cleto.
The pause in production was planned to be temporary, with Kimmel saying that it would be just for the rest of last week following a heartfelt tribute to his longtime friend on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Now it’s time for the series to return with more human-interest stories and interviews with the stars.

Monday, November 17
To start the week, Kimmel will speak with Samuel L. Jackson, who is taking to the hot seat to discuss Tulsa King. The Paramount+ series is currently in its third season, with the finale slated to air on Sunday, Nov. 23, so there will be a lot to break down and look ahead to.
After that, he’ll chat with Ms. Pat about Ms. Pat Settles It. The musical guest will be Eric Church.
Tuesday, November 18
Kate Winslet will then join Jimmy Kimmel to talk about her upcoming movie, Goodbye June. The upcoming Christmas drama will hit theaters on Friday, Dec. 12, and it follows a man and his four adult children who ned to figure out how to navigate the world when his wife’s health takes a turn for the worse during the holiday period.
Rhea Seehorn will also get some time to promote her new series Pluribus, which is available to stream on Apple TV. Then, Stephen Wilson Jr. will appear as the musical guest.

Wednesday, November 19
While many are looking forward to My Next Guest with David Letterman as he speaks with Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel Live! gets the comedian first. He’ll be there to talk all about Jay Kelly, the new movie starring George Clooney. Kimmel chatted with Clooney about the movie last week.
Ali Larter joins Kimmel to talk all about Landman, which has just started its second season. T-Pain will be the musical guest for the night.
Thursday, November 20
Finally, Kerry Washington is confirmed for the Thursday night show, promoting the new Knives Out movie, Wake Up Dead Man. We’re certainly looking forward to seeing the third Knives Out Mystery.
U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell will also take to the couch, and Lord Huron will be the musical guest for the night. That’s it for the week at this point.
Friday, November 21
Wait, there’s another night! ABC hasn’t confirmed the guests for the night just yet. Maybe there’s a chance to get Thursday, Nov. 13’s guests back for the night, but it could also be a rerun, as has happened in the past.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
