Monday is here, and it means we’re ready for a new lineup of episodes from the late-night shows. Jimmy Kimmel Live is new all week, starting Monday, Jan. 12, except for likely Friday, which has become normal. The schedule isn’t confirmed for Friday, Jan. 16, and we’ve noticed that that usually means a rerun on the night.
The rest of the week is packed with new guests and interviews. After announcing that there would only be around two musical guests a week in 2026, we’re certainly seeing that, with the musical guests in the middle of the week.

Monday, January 12
The week kicks off with Michael B. Jordan, who will be there to chat about Sinners, as there is a bigger push for the award circuit. Jordan is no stranger to interviews at the moment, as he was one of the first guests of My Next Guest season 6 on Netflix.
After that, it’s over to Joel McHale, who will be on the show to chat about Animal Control. The FOX comedy is back for a fourth season, and it’s a great way to lighten Thursday nights. McHale will chat about the previous seasons and tease some of what’s to come.

Tuesday, January 13
It’s all about The Pitt on Tuesday night, with Noah Wyle on the show. He has recently talked about how his ER colleagues wouldn’t have been able to get through The Pitt’s bootcamp, so it’ll be interesting to see if that comes up during the episode.
Then Tig Notaro will appear on the series to chat about Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and Come See Me in the Good Light. After that, we get the first of two musical guests, Raphael Saadiq, Miles Caton, and Ludwig Göransson.

Wednesday, January 14
Johnny Knoxville is next, as he returns to TV with the reboot of Fear Factor. Fear Factor: House of Fear brings the ‘90s classic back, and while it did get some negativity in the past, this was a show that gave many people a chance to face their fears for the chance to win big.
After that, Chase Infiniti will be on the show to talk about One Battle After Another, which is on the rounds for the awards. Hopefully, she’ll be able to chat a little about The Testaments as well, which will arrive on Hulu in April 2026. The second musical guest of the week will appear then, and it’s Ed Sheeran!
Thursday, January 15
The last of the confirmed episodes includes Chris Pratt, who is there to talk about his new movie, Mercy. Also starring Rebecca Ferguson of Silo fame, Pratt plays a man who has been accused of murder. Only, during his trial, he needs to prove that it wasn’t him through a series of videos and high-tech equipment, or he will be executed for a murder he says he didn’t commit.
Jessie Buckley will then appear on the series to talk about Hamnet. This is an adaptation of a novel that may be about William Shakespeare’s wife and family. It’s hard to tell just how much is fact and fiction, but it’s a beautiful story, nonetheless.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
