Friday night is here, and that means Real Time with Bill Maher gets the final word in late-night TV. So what should fans expect to see tonight on HBO?
Real Time has plenty to talk about after another busy week. President Donald Trump continued his feud with Harvard University, and the House worked to pass the president's "beautiful" bill. Maher's late-night TV colleagues had the chance to sink their teeth into these stories.
Unfortunately, we won't get to hear what Bill Maher has to say about these topics or anything else on Friday. There will not be a new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. Instead, HBO will air the documentary Pee-wee as Himself during the late-night show's normal timeslot.
It doesn't come as too big of a surprise that Maher and his team have the night off. Monday is Memorial Day, so Real Time gets an extra day off on the front end of the long holiday weekend.
Fans who still want to hear something from Maher have options even during the show's off week. Clips from Real Time, including Maher's monologue and guest interviews, are available on the show's official YouTube channel.
