Live from New York, there will finally be a new episode of Saturday Night Live this week! NBC's sketch comedy series has been on an extended hiatus due to the network's coverage of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, but they're back at long last with three straight weeks of new episodes, beginning with what's likely the most highly anticipated host of season 51 so far.

Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie hosts the Feb. 28 episode of SNL, making his hosting debut on the series. Before the episode even aired, the actor's promotional digital short, which showed off his talent for accents, earned praise and raised excitement for the new episode. But when can fans watch live and expect from the latest season 51 show? We're sharing it all below!

How to watch Saturday Night Live season 51 episode 13

Connor Storrie hosts SNL on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 11:30 p.m. ET, which is 8:30 p.m. PT and 10:30 p.m. CT. In addition to airing live on NBC, fans can also tune into the episode live on Peacock with a subscription that allows live streaming. Additionally, the episode will be available to stream in full on Peacock on Sunday morning and as always, NBC will add the monologue, select sketches, and musical performances on YouTube and various social media platforms for fans to enjoy.

Who is host Connor Storrie?

Even though this seems like a preposterous question to ask to most people, there's likely a fraction of the regular Saturday Night Live audience that might be familiar with Connor Storrie. The 26-year-old actor hails from Texas and worked as a waiter and model before getting his big break on the small screen. He previously appeared in a small but pivotal role in DC's Joker: Folie à Deux.

The breakout actor stars in the Crave/HBO Max series Heated Rivalry as professional Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov. In the series, rookie hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov begin a secret romance despite being rivals on the ice. Over the years, their hookups turn into real love, leading to deep questions about their future. The series will return for season 2.

Mumford & Sons are the musical guest

Grammy Award-winning British folk band Mumford & Sons will join Storrie's episode as the musical guest, performing two songs from their latest album Prizefighter. The band released the album, which is their sixth studio album overall, on Feb. 20 and was preceded by singles "Rubber Band Man," "Prizefighter," and "The Banjo Song." Their appearance as SNL musical guests on Feb. 28 marks the band's fourth appearance on the show. They embark on a tour across North America beginning in June.

Hockey player Quinn Hughes will reportedly cameo

After winning gold at the Winter Olympics and making headlines thereafter, American hockey player Quinn Hughes has been confirmed to make an appearance during Saturday Night Live this week. Hughes is also set to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night. His brother Jack Hughes and women's hockey gold medalist Hilary Knight might join Hughes' cameo on SNL should their schedules allow, per Deadline.

The US men's hockey team has been embroiled in criticism following their win, but the connection between both gold-medal winning hockey teams and this week's SNL host is obvious. Since Storrie gained fame by playing a hockey player on TV, there's an easy tie-in to celebrate the country's success with the sport at the Winter Olympics. It's unclear at what point in the show the athletes will make their cameos, but it's sure to make some headlines.
