Nobody in late-night TV does the holidays quite like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. So with December about to arrive, what should fans expect to see tonight on NBC?

Between the Christmas songs, sweaters, and audience giveaways, Jimmy Fallon has always made a point to go over the top around the holidays. November is essentially over and it’s never to early to start in on the December holidays.

Sadly, we won’t get to see if Jimmy Fallon and his team are already in the holiday spirit on Thursday. There will not be a new episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight. The show took a break at the end of last week for Thanksgiving and has not returned this week.

Instead, NBC will reair the October 24 episode during the Tonight Show‘s normal time slot. Josh Groban, John Stamos, Tyla, and Mick Jagger made up the guest lineup for the show.

When will The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon return with new episodes?

The Tonight Show‘s absence on Thursday night is part of a larger trend across late-night TV. Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert are also off tonight. That means just Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Daily Show plan to deliver new episodes for Thursday’s audience.

But what about The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait very long to see the show back in action.

A new episode is scheduled for Monday, December 4. Dua Lipa, Benny Safdie, and Brad Paisley are on the schedule, meaning Jimmy Fallon intends to start December on a high note.

He’ll be right back to work on Tuesday, December 5. Expect to see Julia Roberts and Hasan Minhaj on the show.
