Saturday Night Live picks 2 perfect hosts for December

Saturday Night Live gave fans a major gift this week with the announcement of two hosts coming in December. Both picks are among the best to be on the SNL stage.
First up, actor Adam Driver will host on December 9. It will mark his fourth time as a Saturday Night Live host, having last done the honor on January 25, 2020.
Driver immediately proved to be one of the best SNL hosts in recent history. The actor may be known for his dramatic work, but he demonstrated a willingness to play absurd, over-the-top characters. Whether it was spoofing Star Wars with “Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base” or stealing the show in “Career Day,” Driver’s work suggests he could just as easily be a cast member.
For the 2023 Saturday Night Live Christmas episode, SNL will welcome back Kate McKinnon. The former cast member left the show after season 47 in 2022. McKinnon ended up appearing in 211 SNL episodes.
McKinnon ended her SNL run as one of the most popular cast members. She dominated any sketch she was in by bringing an unpredictable approach. She was equally skilled at the “Weekend Update” desk and successfully launched multiple recurring characters.
Who are the Saturday Night Live musical guests for December?
As if Adam Driver and Kate McKinnon weren’t enough, Saturday Night Live also revealed two of the biggest artists in the world as musical guests for December. Safe to say Saturday Night Live season 49 will finish 2023 with a bang.
Olivia Rodrigo will support Adam Driver during the December 9 show. It will be her second time as musical guest following her May 15, 2021 spot. Don’t be surprised if Rodrigo also pops up in a sketch or two.
Billie Eilish steps in as musical guest for Kate McKinnon’s episode on December 16. She was the musical guest for the September 28, 2019 show, and she served as both host and musical guest on December 11, 2021.
Saturday Night Live is going all out to finish 2023. Adam Driver, Olivia Rodrigo, Kate McKinnon, and Billie Eilish prove that Studio 8H still attracts the biggest stars in entertainment.
