Jimmy Kimmel disses Fox News unrelenting smear campaign against Biden

Jimmy Kimmel has seen enough when it comes to Fox News’ coverage of President Joe Biden. The late-night TV host’s monologue recapped the network’s desperate smear campaign.

Fox News is a content factory for Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue and the rest of late-night TV. But it’s typically focused on how the network and its personalities cover Donald Trump. The former president’s mounting legal troubles have led Fox to pivot, trying to make President Joe Biden as bad as possible.

And while President Biden deserves some criticism, Fox News has already gone too far according to Kimmel. “Nowadays it’s like you can’t give your opponent an inch,” Kimmel said. “And [Fox News] are so desperate to smear Joe Biden they are literally now grasping at straws.”

Kimmel’s monologue then cut to a Fox News clip in which host Jesse Watters questioned President Biden’s masculinity for using a straw in public. “Anyone feel like Jesse Watters might be going through an identity crisis?” Kimmel responded. He then took it a step further by showing an image of Donald Trump drinking a milkshake through a straw.

Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue continued to examine the lengths Fox News will go to blame President Joe Biden for anything. The late-night TV host’s reaction to it all was somewhere between amused and befuddled.

The comedian played a clip from Fox and Friends predicting that Joe Biden will not be re-elected president if hamburger meat stays at $6 per pound. When another host added that it also hurts Hamburger Helper, Kimmel couldn’t help himself.

“When Donald Trump was president, Hamburger Helper was an official White House cabinet position,” Kimmel teased.

The closer we get to 2024, the more Fox News will likely go after Joe Biden after anything whether it’s deserved or not. On the other side, expect Jimmy Kimmel to be the filter for Fox News’ smear campaign.
