We’re still riding high on the Thanksgiving holiday, and Saturday Night Live fans have plenty to be thankful for this season. But what should we expect to see from SNL tonight?

Saturday Night Live season 49 arrived only slightly delayed because of the writers’ strike. Since then, the season has been steady while bringing some fresh faces into the SNL family. With five episodes already in the can, the show feels positioned to really hit its stride.

Unfortunately, we won’t see SNL take the next step on Saturday. There will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight. That’s no surprise, considering Thanksgiving was on Thursday. SNL cast, crew, and staff are still enjoying the holiday break.

Instead, NBC will reair the October 21 episode from earlier this season. Interested fans can tune in to revisit Bad Bunny’s debut as host. The episode also featured surprise appearances from Fred Armisen, Pedro Pascal, Mick Jagger, and Lady Gaga.

When will Saturday Night Live return with new episodes?

While any week without a new episode of Saturday Night Live is a bummer, there is good news for SNL fans. There won’t be too long of a wait before the lights come back on in Studio 8H.

Saturday Night Live returns with a new episode on December 2. Emma Stone will host, meaning she’ll enter the famous Five-Timers Club. Stone’s appearance comes in support of her new series The Curse co-starring Nathan Fielder.

Noah Kahan will be the musical guest. It will be the first SNL appearance for Kahan, who released the album Stick Season in October 2022.
