The Late Show with Stephen Colbert took some unscheduled time off last week. So what should fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

Last week, we didn’t get our normal dose of Stephen Colbert’s monologues. That’s because the Late Show host tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to cancel his scheduled shows.

However, there is good news to start off the new week. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

It’s unclear if The Late Show will broadcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City or if Colbert will work remotely. He did one episode from home last week before his doctors recommended he focus on getting rest.

Regardless, Colbert should get his audience up to speed on how he’s feeling and how he spent the unexpected days off. Then, his monologue should get into the latest on topics like Jim Jordan’s Speaker bid, Donald Trump’s legal troubles, and more.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First up, Colbert interviews actors Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez. The trio currently stars in the Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along. The musical has been a smash success at the Hudson Theatre, earning an impressive sum at the box office.

Then, Arlo Parks joins The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The singer’s second album, My Soft Machine, was released in May. Parks’ latest single is “Devotion,” preceding “Pegasus” featuring Phoebe Bridges.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight, October 23, at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. Late-night TV fans can also watch with a Paramount+ subscription.
