It’s Monday, and that means a new week of late-night TV starts up. So what should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert returned to the air last week following the Writers Guild of America strike. He didn’t miss a beat, recapping the summer and saying goodbye to Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House with help from the Late Show writing staff.

Monday night gives Colbert and company a chance to keep the momentum going. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Expect Colbert’s monologue to address the biggest stories from the weekend. That should include the conflict between Israel and Palestine, Donald Trump’s ongoing trials, and the latest from the House of Representatives.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

Stephen Colbert’s first guest on Monday night is someone who can talk about everything from politics to pop culture. Arnold Schwarzenegger will join The Late Show tonight.

The former bodybuilder and California governor is on to discuss his new book Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. He’s already been making the late-night rounds, chatting with Jimmy Kimmel last week and appearing on Conan O’Brien’s podcast this week.

Tonight’s musical guest is Metric. The indie rock band from Canada’s latest album is Formentera II.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight, October 9, at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
