Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, March 25?

Saturday Night Live fans have remained patient, awaiting a new episode over the past few weeks. So what should we expect to see from SNL tonight on NBC?
SNL last aired a new episode back on March 11. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega proved that she could play offbeat and absurd comedy just as well as the dark humor that made her famous on Netflix. But since then, Studio 8H has been quiet.
Unfortunately, that won’t change on Saturday. There will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.
Instead, NBC will reair the January 21 episode. Perhaps by intention, it’s the episode hosted by Aubrey Plaza (to whom many fans compare Ortega). Sam Smith served as the musical guest.
Fans can also tune into NBC a little earlier in the night for another vintage SNL episode. At 10:00 p.m. ET, catch a 2017 episode hosted by Chris Pine with musical guest LCD Soundsystem.
When does Saturday Night Live return with new episodes?
It hasn’t been easy going without Saturday Night Live for the past couple of weeks. So much has happened that a cold open or “Weekend Update” segment could have covered. Plus, SNL appeared to be gaining momentum heading into the tail end of the season.
The good news is that the wait finally comes to an end next week. Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson makes her SNL debut as host. She’ll be joined by musical guest Lil Yachty.
SNL hasn’t announced any other hosts for April beyond Brunson. That news could come tonight or in the lead-up to the show’s return next week.
