Dr Jordan Peterson, a political spokesperson and Clinical Psychologist, took to Twitter to praise Bill Maher for voicing his opinion on the so-called woke revolution which is storming America.

In light of Maher’s recent monologue, Peterson said, “maybe we should talk again”.

It has been 4 years since the two have shared a screen and so a return to Real Time with Bill Maher could be a real possibility for the well-known psychologist.

Jordan Peterson and Bill Maher think alike

The show host has always adopted a sort of hybrid political opinion, voicing views that align with both sides of the political spectrum. However, Maher has consistently sided with conservatives when it comes to the issue of woke culture. In this recent monologue,  the comedian bashed the ideas of Communism and cancel culture.

“The problem with Communism and with some very recent ideologies here at home is that they think you can change reality by screaming at it”, Maher said.

Similarly, Jordan Peterson has always shared the same viewpoint on these problems and has recently come under fire from his home country Canada for his political beliefs. In fact, an investigation was launched into comments Jordan made on Twitter and on Joe Rogan’s podcast, JRE, by the Ontario College of Psychologists, the governing body that then threatened to take away his degree.

Protection of free speech against the woke revolution

Both Maher and Peterson have been vocal about the importance of free speech and protecting the rights of the American people. On Real Time, the host has always defended the right to free speech and actively exercises his right on the show.

Both figures are known for talking about controversial topics and sharing their opinion, so a reunion, especially in the current political climate, would be very fitting.

Jordan B Peterson previously on Real Time with Bill Maher

Jordan Peterson has previously appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher where the show host claimed that he was a huge fan and the pair discussed political correctness and free speech. If Peterson was to return it is likely that the pair would get on very well and have an endlessly eye-opening discussion on recent news such as the Chinese spy balloon story as well as woke culture and the silencing of free speech.
