Saturday Night Live aired a cameo-filled episode last week that became one of the season’s highest-rated shows. So what should SNL fans expect to see tonight on NBC?

The White Lotus and Emily the Criminal star Aubrey Plaza hosted for the first time last week and got a little help. President Joe Biden, Amy Poehler, Sharon Stone, Tony Hawk, the Property Brothers, and Allison Williams all pitched in to deliver some of SNL’s best ratings of the season.

Fans now get the chance to see how the sketch show will keep the momentum going. There will be a brand new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.

Creed III director and star Michael B. Jordan will host for the first time. He’ll be joined by musical guest Lil Baby.

What to watch for on Saturday Night Live tonight

It’s hard to imagine tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live will top appearances by a sitting president and one of the show’s most beloved cast members. However, there’s also no reason the show can’t deliver as we near the halfway point of season 48.

Perhaps all those cameos last week were designed to take the sting out of Cecily Strong’s departure. But now that SNL played that card, it’s up to the rest of the cast to pick up any slack.

Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman are two cast members who could use a bounce-back episode. Both had limited screen time last week despite proving to be more than capable of carrying a sketch.

SNL took its shot at Representative George Santos during last week’s cold open. Maybe the show will give its take on Vice President Mike Pence becoming the latest politician to discover classified documents at their home.

Saturday Night Live airs tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. You can also stream the show on Peacock.
