Jon Stewart is set to join Stephen Colbert on The Late Show tonight at 11:35pm on CBS and ParamountPlus.

What will be the hot topic of discussion?

Recently on The Problem with Jon Stewart, the host has been focused on midterm elections as has everyone else, but apart from that, he has also talked about globalization and America’s economic and military allies. Jon has touched on the impressive feat of re-shoring 350,000 manufacturing jobs and the power of and benefits of ‘Made in America’. He’s also made comments on international conflicts such as the two decades in Afghanistan and the Ukraine-Russia war going out right now.

One Twitter user tweeted in reaction to the news of Stewart’s upcoming appearance: “Ooh I hope @jonstewart speaks on Chapelle’s antisemitic SNL monologue. They’re friends, so he probably won’t; but it would be pretty cathartic.”

Since the start of Kanye’s anti-semitic rampage, it seems that Jon Stewart has not backed off the topic. He makes sure to constantly bring up the injustice and prejudice being spread.

Meanwhile, Colbert has recently brought up the past with discussions about January 6th and the pandemic with Michelle Obama. Stephen has also talked about Elon Musk, Twitter and the Democrat midterm success. We could see any of these topics being discussed tonight.

A topic that seems extremely likely to come up is the potential for World War 3 as a Russian missile today hit NATO member Poland.

If Stewart takes the lead it could easily flow to a more economic rather than political discussion regarding America and its situation compared to the rest of the world. Inflation and the strength of the dollar are prominent talking points. The bankruptcy of FTX which has led to a crypto market collapse could also be a contending theme.

The last time the two were on a show together the pair could not escape the topic of COVID-19, the vaccine and the Wuhan lab theory.

No matter what Stewart and Colbert decide to talk about, the hype for this episode is clear. Many users on Twitter have expressed their excitement ahead of the episode. Last year the pair managed to pull in over 7.6 Million views on just a short clip of the show on YouTube. Another YouTube clip from 6 years ago has been able to amass a whopping 18.7 Million views.

Tune in tonight as the two meet once again.
