Saturday Night Live is coming off back-to-back new episodes. So what should SNL fans expect to see tonight on NBC?

The past two episodes had one special feature in common: they both had a rapper serve as host and musical guest. Megan Thee Stallion and Jack Harlow joined the exclusive list of SNL hosts to pull double duty.

Things get back to normal with two separate performers on Saturday. There will be a brand new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer returns as host. She’ll be joined by musical guest Steve Lacy in his SNL debut.

What to watch for on Saturday Night Live tonight

Expect Saturday Night Live to go heavy on politics on tonight’s episode. The midterm elections are on Tuesday, so SNL has one more chance to poke fun at GOP contenders as well as a few democrats. Maybe we’ll see James Austin Johnson’s Joe Biden give a pep talk to his party, or see SNL’s take on the Republican Party’s best and brightest.

Through four episodes in season 48, cameos have become a regular occurrence. Jon Hamm, Shaun White, Colin Farrell, Tom Hanks, Bobby Moynihan, and Jeff Probst have all popped up. There’s plenty of reason to think we’ll get another name added to that list tonight.

One dark horse candidate to cameo tonight? Jennifer Lawrence. She’s good friends with Schumer, lives in New York City, and has the film Causeway to promote. The Oscar winner hosted back in 2013 and would certainly bring down the house in Studio 8H if she showed up for the monologue and/or a sketch.
