Week two of Jeopardy!‘s inaugural Second Chance Tournament rolled on Wednesday night. One player earned their right to play in the two-night finals beginning tomorrow.
Two players have already reserved their spots in the finals with victories on Monday and Tuesday nights. Tonight, three more players faced off for the chance to win more money and a spot in the Tournament of Champions tournament.
Who won Jeopardy! tonight?
Tonight’s game featured Rowan Ward, a chart caller, writer, and editor from Chicago, Illinois, Do Park, a sportswriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Nikkee Porcaro, an educational consultant and business owner from Silver Spring, Maryland.
Ward jumped out to a comfortable lead in the “Jeopardy!” round, finishing with $9,400. Park sat in a distant third with $2,000, while Porcaro had a lot of work to do with no money.
However, “Double Jeopardy!” brought more of the same as Ward dominated the game and finished with $26,800. Porcaro rebounded nicely into second place with $7,200. It was a slight lead over Park in third with $6,800.
“Final Jeopardy!” was a formality, but Ward was still the only player to answer correctly. The Chicago native added $10,000 and earned a seat in the finals beginning tomorrow night.

Do Park incorrectly wrote down “St. Peter’s Basilica” as a response. Nikkee Porcaro came up with “the Red Cross” for her answer.
