Last week, Jessica Stephens won the two-day final to punch her ticket to the championship tournament. Now, Jeopardy! looks to add another player to the competition field.
Who won Jeopardy! tonight?
Monday night’s players included Sadie Goldberger, an interpreter from Columbia, Maryland, Jeff Smith, a music educator from San Diego, California, and Sarah Snider, a middle school humanities teacher from Fishers, Indiana.
Snider found herself in the driver’s seat after the “Jeopardy” round. She led with $5,600. Goldberger wasn’t far behind in second with $3,600. Smith had some catching up to do at $3,000.
“Double Jeopardy!” saw Goldberger surge ahead and finish the round leading with $13,400. Smith jumped into second with $10,600, while Snider dropped to third with $5,200.
All three players correctly answered the “Final Jeopardy!” clue tonight. Sadie Goldberger’s strong wager ensured her the victory and a spot in the finals starting on Thursday.
