The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh had some harsh words for Jon Stewart last week. The political commentator blasted Stewart for his take on gender ideology.

Walsh began, reiterating his aim to “make gender transitions on minors illegal”, hoping such a law would hold precedent across the United States.

The commentator then moved on to the topic of Jon Stewart, as the former Daily Show host recently began taping for the second season of his Apple+ show.

“Even though nobody watched the first season, he got the second season anyway,” Walsh told viewers.

“Season two, episode one comes along and focuses on the topic of gender. It is, in effect, Jon Stewart’s response to our documentary, What is a Woman?

Walsh’s controversial, yet widely acclaimed documentary was released this year, delving deep into contemporary gender ideology topics.

Before reviewing the Apple+ episode, Walsh was keen to label Stewart a “spineless left-wing hack who has long had the reputation of a free thinker.”

He continued: “Even though, he has always simply adopted the mainstream corporate position on literally every topic and that’s what he’s done now on gender.”

Matt Walsh first took issue with what he described as a seemingly ill-informed take on the debate. Whilst watching Stewart’s monologue, Walsh claimed the host was failing to address the issue of how the entity of a woman is labelled and instead, comparing the historical views on women, a separate political discussion entirely.

“In this case, your brainless appeals to authority are even more asinine because the authorities you mention all have an obvious financial stake in the very medical practise you are seeking to justify,” Walsh claimed.

The commentator then pushed Jon Stewart to release and speak on the studies which would counteract the claim that those with gender dysphoria can be helped out of such feelings.

“Tell me John, which long-term studies prove that it’s a good idea to castrate and mutilate kids?,” he said.
