After a three-week long hiatus, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert finally returned this week. But what should late-night TV fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert rewarded fans for their patience, returning on Tuesday to share his thoughts on former President Donald Trump’s latest scandal. As the week went on, Colbert’s monologues continued to hammer Team Trump.

Unfortunately, he’ll be taking another break on Friday night. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It’s not that big of a surprise, considering The Late Show rarely airs Friday episodes. However, the Monday holiday had some fans holding out hope for a fourth episode of the week tonight.

Instead, CBS will reair the June 16 episode. Interested viewers can see Colbert welcome Tom Hanks and Regina Spektor to the show.

What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight

The good news? Late-night TV fans have plenty of other options for Friday night.

For those who prefer political humor, Real Time with Bill Maher will be brand new tonight on HBO. The show starts at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! will have a new show on ABC starting at 11:30 p.m. Kenan Thompson, Joe Buck, and Yungblud are on the guest lineup.

On NBC, look for a brand new episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. John Legend and Danielle Brooks are scheduled to appear.

Joining The Late Show on the list of shows airing repeats are Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
