Stephen Colbert gave a perfect mockery of Eric Trump last night on The Late Show. When recapping the most recent events of the ongoing Trump documents scandal, the host took a look at Eric Trump’s latest reaction.

Colbert told viewers there was clearly no defence Donald Trump could provide to having classified documents in his possession. Instead, the CBS host revealed, “People trying to defend him are instead focusing on the evidence picture the FBI took of them on the carpet.”

The Late Show soon after broadcasted a clip from an interview the former president’s son, Eric had done with Fox News.

Eric Trump defends dad on Fox News in hilarious interview

Eric Trump told a Fox News anchor: “I can tell you, my father is a very very neat guy,” Eric Trump said on Fox News. “He doesn’t leave documents staged all over an office floor.”

Every sitcom writer in the country is furious at the way this is all panning out…

Colbert was quick to mock the former president’s son, granting viewers yet another opportunity to witness his famed Eric Trump impression.

The host began: “My dad…my dad… no I mean this. This is important! Quiet y’all, listen up!”

“My dad does not leave documents all over the floor, OK? His crime is organized!”

Colbert’s latest monologue comes after new information was released regarding Trump’s FBI raid last month.

The Washington Post reported that foreign nuclear secrets were amongst the papers stored at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago address.

The documents in question supposedly contained information on “a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities”, according to the newspaper.
