Hillary and Chelsea Clinton appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote their new Apple+ show. Fallon was keen to mention Donald Trump’s ongoing documents scandal with the former first lady, leaving Clinton in hysterical laughter.

The Tonight Show host asked the pair, with their knowledge of living in The White House, “How easy is it to walk out with boxes of classified boxes?”

Clinton quickly broke into laughter, visibly entertained by the question.

Many have already taken great issue in Clinton’s reaction, mostly due to the fact she found herself in a slightly similar controversy back in 2016.

Poynter reported however, quoting lawyer, Bradley Moss that the two scenarios of Hillary Clinton’s emails and Trump’s hidden document boxes are in fact, wildly different.

“Trump took properly marked hard copy classified documents from the White House, shipped them to Florida, and stored them in an unsecured location at his residence,” he explained.

“The e-mails were never marked as classified because these were communications from unclassified government accounts”.

Clinton’s new Apple+ show premieres September 9th

Clinton appeared on The Tonight Show first to promote her new Apple+ show, premiering on September 9th.

The network has announced that the new eight part documentary style show will shine a light on “women artists, activists, community leaders and everyday heroes”.

The series will also feature a number of famous female faces, including Kim Kardashian, Amy Schumer and Kate Hudson.

Many online are reacting to Clinton’s latest work with Apple+, with some, far from impressed. One user on Twitter mocked Clinton’s attempt to shine a light on female achievement: “Hillary Clinton deciding to stay with her sexual-predator-Epstein-buddy husband is not #Gutsy no matter how many guests she has on her rebranding series.”

Another agreed, “Gutsy would’ve been her demanding justice for his victims, and forging her own path without him.”
