Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, September 6?
By Matt Moore
Labor Day is over and that meant millions of Americans were back to work on Tuesday. But what does that mean for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?
Stephen Colbert’s vacation began long before Labor Day. The Late Show has been on hiatus since the beginning of August as it prepared to launch a new season.
And that launch officially begins on Tuesday. There will be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Expect Colbert to come out hot and make a statement with his monologue. A lot happened while he was away, but that shouldn’t prevent him from sharing his thoughts. Millions of his fans have eagerly awaited what Colbert will say about the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago and former President Trump’s attempts to explain why he took classified documents from the White House.
Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?
Of course, Stephen Colbert’s monologue is only part of the Late Show attraction. The guest lineup should also excite audiences.
First up, Colbert will chat with Alex Wagner. The journalist hosts Alex Wagner Tonight on MSNBC and The Circus on Showtime.
Then, Roy Wood, Jr. joins the show. The Daily Show correspondent also hosts the podcast Roy’s Job Fair.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight, September 6, at 11:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
