Kanye West blasts Pete Davidson, says SNL star was used in attempt to take away kids
Kanye West (Ye) continued his public criticism of Pete Davidson recently via Instagram. Ye blasted the former SNL star for being unfunny, before claiming the comedian was a “pawn” for a nefarious purpose.
On Instagram, the rapper wrote: “I like to post comments cause y’all n***as is hilarious. I love funny people and I think that’s one of the reasons me and Skete could’ve never been friends.”
“I like to fight with jokes. Sometimes we gotta laugh to keep from crying even when we dealing with serious topics. Shit be the funniest when it’s true.”
Ye has made no attempt to shy away from making comment on Davidson’s recent breakup with Kim Kardashian in recent months.
Whilst mocking the comedian for being unfunny, Ye also accused the TV personality of acting as a “pawn”. In an Instagram comment, the rapper wrote: “Hi North I’m Skete Look at my Tattooooos. I’m a pawn sent here to antagonize your dad in hopes that he’ll do something illegal so we can take him out of your life.”
Whilst Davidson appeared to shrug off the rapper’s barrage of comments this year in a recent comedy special, US Weekly reported that he was undergoing therapy as a result of the public conflict.
First Pete, next Adidas: Kanye West continues Instagram tirade
Pete Davidson isn’t the only name Ye has chosen to criticise this week. The rapper is also notably frustrated with footwear company, Adidas for making senior decisions on his brand without seeking approval.
Via a number of Instagram posts, Ye mocked the retailer, posting images of senior officials and demanding negotiations take place, before threatening to make things “unbearable”.
No matter the public opinion on Ye’s online behaviour, hundreds of thousands are fascinated by the industry conflict, those alike, often kept behind closed doors. And judging by the end result of this spectacular dispute, it’s clear why.
