A new month started today, and late-night TV fans hope it starts a new string of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert episodes. So what should audiences expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert and his team effectively took off the month of August. There hasn’t been a new episode since August 11 despite some pretty big news stories breaking over the past few weeks.

But once again, don’t expect to see anything different on Thursday night. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Instead, CBS will reair the July 20 episode. Any Stephen Colbert fans who enjoy looking into the past can see the comedian welcome Ice-T and Michael Pollan to the show.

So when does The Late Show return with new episodes? Friday will be another repeat and with Labor Day on Monday, look for more of the same. Instead, look for a new episode on Tuesday, September 6.

What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight

Late-night TV fans have probably noticed that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert isn’t the only show that’s been off this week. Options have been limited as we hit the home stretch of summer.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonLate Night with Seth MeyersJimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will all air repeat episodes on Thursday.

Only The Late Late Show with James Corden will deliver a brand new show. Tonight’s guest lineup includes Terry Crews, Ken Jeong, and Amanda Shires. The show starts at 12:35 a.m. ET on CBS.
