Viewers say Bill Maher has “lost his mind” after Hunter Biden coverage

Twitter reacts this weekend to Bill Maher‘s recent coverage of ongoing news coverage surrounding Hunter Biden. Many are now claiming the HBO host has officially fallen out of touch with his audience.

Maher went on a scathing rant against America’s mainstream media this week, claiming they had deliberately “buried” the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

“Now look, let’s not pussyfoot around this; he was selling the influence of his father, Joe Biden. I mean, most political sons do, but let’s not pretend at least that was going on…  so Hunter Biden’s laptop was buried by the press,” the host told viewers.

Maher’s take came after Mark Zuckerberg admitted on The Joe Rogan Experience that Facebook restricted the ability for the story to surface on the platform due to an FBI misinformation warning.

Maher continued: “Even the head of Twitter Jack Dorsey said that was a mistake… So Sam Harris says it was appropriate for Twitter, and the heads of Big Tech, and the heads of journalistic organizations to feel that they were in the presence of something that is a once-in-a-lifetime moral emergency, meaning Trump. So he’s saying it’s okay to have a conspiracy, to get rid of somebody as bad as Trump.”

“Bill Maher has lost his mind”

Viewers are already reacting in fury to Maher’s attack on the media. One user wrote on Twitter, “Bill Maher has lost his mind… focusing on Hunter Biden lap top while the biggest crime in presidential history is taking place in slow motion! He is completely out of touch and not very funny.”

Despite growing concerns over Hunter Biden as his political controversy is brought back into the limelight, there is still no verifiable proof that President Joe Biden is in any way connected to his son’s business dealings.

And, despite Maher’s long history of brutal disapproval of Trump’s presidency, it seems the HBO host is keen to keep balance, even when he is forced to attack his own political wing.
