We’re at the start of a new week, so Jeopardy! fans will be looking to start a new week of shows. What should audiences expect to see tonight?

It has been quite a while since Jeopardy! delivered a brand new episode. Last we saw, Luigi de Guzman became the current champion. He won $23,401 before the show went on a summer hiatus.

Unfortunately for fans, that hiatus continues on Monday night. There will not be a new episode of Jeopardy! tonight.

Instead, the show will once again showcase a popular episode from the previous season. Tonight, fans can relive the January 26 episode. It’s notable for being the end of Amy Schneider’s winning streak. The impressive champ ended up with $1,382,800.

When does Jeopardy! return with new episodes?

Jeopardy! finished the season back in July. The entire month of August has been dedicated to repeat episodes ahead of the show’s return.

Jeopardy! season 39 is scheduled to begin on September 12. Luigi de Guzman will be back to defend his title against two new challengers.

Fans can also expect to see Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik back behind the podium. Jeopardy! announced that the duo will continue to split hosting duties rather than having one permanent host run the show.
