We’ve hit the midway point of August, and what a month it’s been already. Can late-night TV fans expect to hear more about the news on an all-new The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?
Stephen Colbert has been late-night TV’s go-to voice for reaction to the search warrant executed at Mar-a-Lago earlier this month. Colbert’s monologues have targeted everyone, including Fox News and former President Donald Trump’s legal team.
Unfortunately, we won’t hear Colbert’s take on the latest developments on Monday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the June 28 episode. Interested fans can watch Colbert interview Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and hear musical guest Jimmie Allen.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight
Just because The Late Show is taking the night off, it doesn’t mean that late-night TV fans should head to bed early. There are plenty of other options.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be brand new on NBC. Sterling K. Brown, Eve Hewson, Gabrielle Zevin, and Em Beihold are all on the guest list.
Over on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel Live! will also have a new episode. Guest host Desus Nice welcomes Jerrod Carmichael, Jeanie Buss, and Grace Ives.
Look for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah to also bring a fresh episode on Comedy Central. Trevor Noah will chat with Alex Wagner.
