Bill Maher in a recent episode of his podcast, Club Random spoke openly on his distrust in a lot of scientific and academic studies.

Speaking to internet personality, Hannah Stocking, the HBO host said, “I’ve heard a lot of like academic research, scientific research is b********. I mean it’s so much politics and stuff you cannot really trust what’s in studies through a variety of corrupting reasons”.

Maher has been openly sceptical of the medical industry, in particular, before. Just this year, the host told viewers on Real Time, “I’m not saying the medical establishment isn’t trying to figure s–t out … But how about just wrong. Wrong a lot,” when speaking on the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maher has previously said that hospitals and pharmaceutical companies rely on the population being sick, going on to mention his wariness in how large a percentage the medical industry make up the country’s economy.

He went on to exclaim that inoculation was a “risky” procedure, which “begs long term cost/benefit analysis”.

Hannah Stocking agrees with Bill Maher

Stocking did however, agree with Maher on the inaccuracy of a lot of scientific studies.

“I feel a lot of articles on Google are are just kinda, paid for and false,” she said. Stocking told Maher she had studied Biology and Chemistry, having natural likening to science before deciding to embark on a social media career.

The guest was just recently announced alongside 50 Cent to appear in upcoming horror movie, Skill House set to portray the dark side of the social media world.

The movie’s director, Josh Stolberg, told The Wrap: “Hannah has dynamic talent and encompasses everything this project is about – internet fame and the evolution in the entertainment industry. We are thrilled to have her joining our cast”.
